Key differences from conventional tooling systems

Conventional RTS KR-RTS
Custom tools Custom tools are NOT available. Custom tools are available.
ATC locking The ATC can be locked pneumatically or electrically. The ATC’s latch is locked without the need for external power.
ATC functions Limited to the locking function between master and slave. In addition to the locking function, the ability to provide power to each tool by embedding an actuator. Motorized ATC (MATC)
Tool Actuators Each tool requires an actuator. Each tool does not need an individual Actuator.
Tool lineup Limited selection of tools, including 2-point, 3-point, and vacuum grippers. More than 15 grippers to cover almost any job.
Providing Compliance Unable to provide compliance, making it difficult to grasp soft objects. Compliant, good for gripping soft objects.
Replacing fingers Swap manually before the job. Can be replaced automatically during the job.
ATC/Tool manufacturer ATC and tools are from different manufacturers, making it difficult to configure a consistent system. The ATC and tool are from the same manufacturer, allowing for a consistent system configuration.
AI Tooling SW Not provided Provides SW for optimal gripper selection and estimation of gripping posture for the target object.
